Since 1952, DELFORNO s.r.l. has performed induction hardening processes on mechanical parts of various shapes and sizes such as: molds, valves, shafts, cylinders, gears, racks, pinions, cams, gibs, pins, chucks, blades, pulleys and many others. These processes can be performed on large series or single parts.The induction hardening process offers considerable mechanical advantages: treating only the areas subject to wear gives them the greatest hardness allowed by the type of steel or cast iron used, while the remaining part (not hardened) maintains the original elasticity, thus avoiding any breakage of the same detail.
